Balletdust to autorski projekt fotograficzny Artura Kosa, poświęcony sztuce baletu i poetyce ruchu. Jego celem jest uchwycenie tego, co w tańcu najdelikatniejsze i jednocześnie najbardziej intensywne: kruchości, siły, skupienia, oddechu i emocji ukrytych między kolejnymi gestami.
W Balletdust balet przestaje być jedynie widowiskiem scenicznym. Staje się intymną opowieścią o tancerzach — o ich ciałach, które mówią bez słów, o pracy, która pozostaje niewidoczna dla widza, o pasji, która tworzy ruch.
Idea projektu
Nazwa Balletdust odnosi się do pyłu, który unosi się w powietrzu, gdy ciało wykonuje ruch — subtelnego śladu chwili, który trwa tylko ułamek sekundy. Projekt rozwija tę metaforę:
Każdy taniec jest jak pył – pojawia się, unosi, znika. Fotografia pozwala go zatrzymać.

Project Concept
The name Balletdust refers to the dust that rises in the air when a dancer moves — a subtle trace of a moment that lasts only for a split second. The project expands this metaphor:
Every dance is like dust — appearing, rising, disappearing. Photography allows it to remain.
